It's 11:45pm on Saturday night and my wife and I just returned from a retro costume party. What a cool idea that was! We had a lot of fun! People were dressed up mostly in 60's 70's and 80's costumes. My wife and I went in 80's outfits. My wife was a tacky 80's prom queen and I was the over the top, in your face, make you wanna throw up after looking at me "80's rocker dude". Besides great food and nice people, we danced to some funky retro tunes. I was thinking to myself....I'm definately older, because I used to tear up the dance floor and tonight my lower back was telling me to not even think of pretending I was a teenager on the dance floor! Anyway, it was a great way to have some serious fun and forget about the challenges of the prior week! Maybe someday I'll have the guts to put up a picture of how my wife and I looked tonight as we headed out to this retro costume party.
