Rochester New Hampshire Blackhawks Mites team playing for state championship

Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Realty Group

Well, it 5:30 in the morning on Sunday March 1st and do you want to know what agent super dad is doing this morning?

I'm working on my second cup of coffee, preparing for a hockey game.  My son Michael is a member of the Rochester New Hampshire Blackhawks mite hockey team and they are preparing for a hockey game at eight a.m. in Exeter New Hampshire.  The Blackhawks have successfully played a winning season, with a record of 11-1-2 in the Granite State hockey league, they have rallied to a place standing coming in the the State playoffs.  With two wins under their belts early this weekend, they are on a roll and ready to win states.

You see, this time of year, not only am I a Century 21 Realtor, but I am also know to some as a hockey parent!  It has always been one of my passions.  I enjoy the time with my family, heading to practices after work.  The long day trips to new and exciting hockey rinks for away games.  The chance for 7 and 8 year olds to feel like they are playing for the Stanley cup.  It's an unbelievable experience, one I think every parent should give their child the opportunity to feel.

Well, gotta go for now, it's off to Exeter for game one this morning.  If they win this morning, they play at 4 p.m. for the Mite state championship against an unknow opponent as of yet.

Hope to see you at the rink sometime!

He looks like a future realtor in that shirt and tie.  Very professional.  Does the team have them dress up for games or is that your doing?

Sharon - I keep telling him that these are going to be days and memories he will have forever. I think I will too! They lost in the championship game, they went 3-1 in the tournament, skated their butts off and came together well as a team.

Thanks for stopping in Tony and Libby.  I would love to have him as a Realtor with me in the future.  The shirt and tie was was mandatory for all of our kids throughout the tournament.  We wanted to teach the kids to show respect for others and the sport.
