horseTo the students of life -

As we 'round the bend in the school year and start chugging towards the Spring finish line, we know that there will be obstacles ahead that have to be seriously considered now  - FINAL EXAMS
Do you totally freak out on test day or are you a last minute crammer?  How has that been working for you so far?

Do you want less stress, higher grades and more return for your time and effort?  Studying is the key - not studying your X- Box - studying subjects that you are actually enrolled in and hoping to get credit for taking.

Here is a handy list of some sites on studying and test taking.

As the parents of two (wonderful and different) children who are only 5 & 6 years old, I thank you for posting this.  Although we are not at the 'studying' stage yet, it won't be long and it is great to have resources for this work.

I particularly like the first link.  Lots of good info that pertains to all learning styles.  Lots of educators in our family, with a variety of learning styles.  Recognizing/identifying your learning style is critical to your success as a student.

Thanks, Kathleen, for this great info.  My youngest daughter is in the final lap of high school and preparing to dash off to University in the fall.  I'll pass these links on to her as well.

Love this info!  I used to teach a study skills class to 6,7 and 8th graders and this would have been great to share with them.  I bookmarked this just in case I ever start a "Staging your child for success" program!  Thanks!
