This Saturday, May 12, Thornton residents can dump their non-hazardous trash and debris at the BFI Landfill, from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. at 88th and Tower Rd.
Only cars and pickups are free (all loads must be covered btw, please no spewing your crap all over the road on your way there) trailer loads and dump trucks will be charged the regular fee.
You MUST show proof of residency.
For some strange reason, my brother and I used to love to accompany my dad to the dump (they called it back then) when we were little. I suppose it's that - little kids like gross things - mentality. Like when you'd ask your friends if they liked "sea" food and then you stuck out your tongue to show them your chewed up food? Okay, never mind.
