Sounds good to me, you have to keep laws like that on the books just to make fun of. Otherwise, the law is just too boring.

Hey Steve-That's one obscure law. Which thought police came up with this one? You do know that it is illegal in some states to have pre-marital sex...time to put away all those never do gooders.
Does the offending party have to pay for the blinders or do they have a supply at the court house?

OMG - Laura's response was classic! so really? that law is still on the books? It would seem that over half of NY would be in violation! It would be a new fashion trend with the horse blinders!
Leesa..I think if New York simply issued tickets all day for the offense that is still on their books they could solve the city's financial problems in short order.
With a law like this, there would be no need for all the frilly stuff the young ladies wear.
Hi Steve - I've been to New York on a few occasions and I'm not sure they enforce that one anymore; or at least they don't apply it to all those "out of towners." I guess they figure the "stiff necks" are going to be enough punishment; whiplash from turning quickly can cause that. lol
