A River Runs Through It

The following are pictures of Rock Creek in the winter time and in the summer time.

Rock Creek runs through Red Lodge, Montana.  During summer and fall, it is an ideal place for fly fishing.  There are plenty of wild rainbow, cut throat, brown, brook and bull trout.  All you need to do is get a fishing license and grab your fishing pole!

Hi Gerry!  Gorgeous photos! What a difference a few seasons make.  I'm pulling for Spring ! We haven't any snow, ( I think I complained about this before- so my apologies)....so unlike your beautiful snow picture, we have brown, and no green or flowers either!  Thanks for sharing. I've never heard of bull trout, I'll have to google that.

Mary,

I hear you.   Spring is just around the corner.    Before you know it, there will be green and flowers blooming.   I included a summer picture to have something to look forward to after all the snow or after all the brown.  Thanks for commenting.

Gerry...

By God that is absolutely beautiful! Either season works. It reminds me of my childhood in NH. I bet you can still catch trout in the winter. Great. Now I'm hungry :)

TLW...ROAR!

TLW,

Thank you for stopping by and admiring the views.   After the catch, I suggest to try some fish fry.   Very tasty!
