Communication skills sure have changed from the old days haven't they. In the old days we had to talk face to face using real words where you could see expressions and body movement but today, that face to face is now screen to screen, or phone to phone and it's so much more complicated to discern emotions and feelings through our electronic devices. Now we're using acronyms unheard of just a short time ago, LOL, LMAO, IBTL. It does make it easier for these Ole fingers though... LOL
It's amazing how many online social networks people enjoy today---For me, I like to fish so there's a fishing forum I frequent, I keep reef tanks, so there's a reefing forum. Then there's the company websites to manage, a couple blogs, national listing data bases, Active Rain, Linkedin, Myspace, my goodness...
