Love, hate with Short Sales

I personally love and hate doing short sales! I must say that Short Sales have brought many headaches! The loss mitigators are a pain in the a** sometimes but I feel for them because they're overworked and most likely underpaid... On the other hand, I don't feel bad for the banks, their bosses, because they had this coming. To this day, I don't understand their rational! Why would they let a home go into foreclosure when they have a solid buyer willing to purchase... I know I know there are numbers and guidelines but in a market environment like today they would end up netting more money 10 out of 10 times if they just accept the offers in hand! Unbelievable! On a more selfish note, I love short sales because they get me some many leads! With my sign in the front yard, open houses, showings, caravans, etc... At the end of the day it's about our clients! Our clients needs and wants. If we're able to help them get out of the nightmare by short selling then it's our responsibility to do that for them regardless of our feeling about the process.
