Spring Forward

Saturday night before bed we Spring forward 1 hour and change our clocks ahead a hour.  So spring is time time for reflection and new hope. A time where new life begins and the beauty of our world starts to show.  Over the week end we had 6 inches of snow and thunder lightening.  Greenville never gets snow like this, only once every few years.  Flowers were starting to bloom and it was pretty to see them peaking out of the snow.  I think this is how are lives are covered in stuff, and waiting for the chance to bloom and spring forward.  We can't be held back or covered up for long.  We must have faith and  the courage to step out and take a chance once again.  If not we will be stuck and never have the chance at a new life!  We can sit and wait on better things or just listen to God and  trust.  Our country has been in trouble before, but some took a chance, dusted themselves off and started over agin.  God gives us a new chance in lives if we only ask for it and trust.  We need to encourage others to have faith.  Now that  all the junk and bad business has been exposed , we can fix it and move forward.  You can't however move forward if you don't take a step out of hiding!  Be cautious, listening to your inter-self and take small steps , test the water like the flowers and animals do after a long winter, soon things will be better, but It will takes us all working together and loosing the fear .  Spring forward to a new light.  Lent and Easter could not be a more perfect time to make change!

I couldn't agree more. We are in quite a pickle right now but I know that we can make it through if we but trust in God and work together to bring about a bright future for ourselves and our children.

Hi Kathy, it's a bit weird here as well, and like Robert (and you), we'll be turning our clocks forward with snow covering the two golf courses in our golf community covered with snow.  What do darker mornings and snowy, slick roads equal????????    My hubby, Dr. John, was down in South Carolina at Tablerock with a group of ministers and ministerial students earlier this year; isn't that somewhere near where you are located?  They had talked about how it just doesn't snow much in South Carolina.  God bless you.
