Just the Facts about the Housing Stimulus

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Steve Moore/David Massey Real Estate

With news changing almost daily concerning the housing stimulus, it's no wonder that people are confused.  I was recently appalled to discover that a tax-preparer was not familiar with the recent change to and $8,000 TAX CREDIT, for first-time home buyers.  That tax preparer was stuck in 2008.  The word is not sufficiently out there!  Please check the link below .

This is real money that can be obtained almost immediately.  Don't rely on someone else to take care of you financial well-being.

Steve,

You were off to a great start on your blog.  I hope you'll pick it back up and keep it going.

Thanks Brian,

I'm on AR almost daily, but often just don't have aything to add.  It's often amusing to see how some comments are interpreted very differently.  Someone can post something as a joke, and some get bent out of shape by taking it seriously.  Usually, I just quietly do my thing, don't give away all my secrets, and somehow succeed.  Thanks again for the comment.

Or they can get a second opinion!  I swear I bet 90% of the buyers receiving that credit are more astute than the "tax preparer" in question here!

If the tax specialist does not know how to file an amended tax return and get the client their $ asap, then they should go back to tax school.

I have many first time home buyers who have filed for the credit on their own.  They completed an amended tax return form for 08 and got their money in 45-60 days.
