Just came from Russel Ray's featured post on How To Get an easy 500 points and after I did what he said, I thought "Gee, seems like what I wrote in the Share Your Active Rain Success Story box would make a good post. Especially since I am so very passionate about the subject matter.
Here's what I wrote as my success story. It doesn't involve dollars and cents ... in involves just plain SENSE!
The reason I participate on the Active Rain network is simple ... I'm an information junkie.
Being an information junkie means that I am addicted to anything that gives me a continous wealth of knowledge. Active Rain does that. It enables me to better serve my clients and the community that I live in by keeping me immediately up-to-date on all of the new trends, all of the new ideas, all of the new software, all of the new thoughts about where the real estate industry and the real estate market - global, national, and hyper-local - is heading.
I truly believe that the ONLY thing that will turn our economy around - including the slumping real estate market - is the minion of REALTORS who have vested their time and energy in being THE ANSWER. Active Rain allows its members to be on the front line of the turn-around and to be THE ANSWER.
I can't say it more clearly than this - WE ARE THE ANSWER.
