I have the blackberry pearl. It is a great phone. The only draw back is the key pad. The keys are very close together and I have big fingers. This however keeps the pearl small like a phone rather than bigger like the treo. It also has a track ball for navigating. This is the best thing about the phone. Someone finally gets it when it comes to navigating. The phone will has a great camer, PDA, email from any source, you can put google talk and yahoo messanger on it, visit web sites, and it has a slot for an external memory card.

I would recommend it highly. And if you are with cingular and it is time to upgrade your phone it will only cost you 99.00.

It depends on what you can do. I use the Treo because it will open our supra boxes. I am also used to the Palm system, so no reason to change. I don't know what the Blackberry can do so you aare on your own there. I have found the Palm based tools easy and reliable.

I have the Moto Q... it has many of the same great features that the others offer.  The one thing that led me to pick this over the others is that I can use the phone as a modem through Sprint's broadband.  So, I no longer need a separate card for my laptop.  I just plug the phone into my laptop via USB port and I am surfing.  Also, I have access to the internet without the laptop (I can even write AR posts or make comments right through the phone).  For the price and plans that are available, I recommend the Sprint Q ($99 for the phone) and $199/month unlimited phone minutes and $35 for the broadband.

Hi Lisa,

I use the Treo 650 up from the Treo 600. Not sure what will be next.

Thanks for all the helpful information!  Wow, this business certainly forces you into the technological world, huh?  I am not due for an upgrade until the beginning of July, so I will see what offers are available then.  A special thanks to Margaret--you sure are amazing to actually take time to call a rookie just 5 minutes before going on the air on your radio show!  What an inspiration you are!
