Don't know about you.....but I've had a great week!!!!

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Omega

As we move into mid day Friday (I'm on the West Coast), like you, I measure my success by accomplishments.  I try and stay organized and maintain some level of discipline.  5 Good News Tidbits I would like to share:

  1. Prospecting!  Does it ever stop?  No.  So in that case I've had a good week of having quality conversations with those who are targeted to do a transaction(s) in 2009.  Again, I'm looking for the 1 Yes, versus the Zillion No's! - plus we all know........professional sales is a numbers game.
  2. Marketing.  Among other things we sent out our weekly Hotlist ON TIME.
  3. President Obama maintained his administration's commitment to getting the specs on the Housing Recovery published on March 4th.  Thus, I was able to effectively and professionally communicate with clients who were waiting.  Also, 9 million is a lot better than 4,000, so despite those who forget the election is over.......I am optimistically hoping we can see some movement.
  4. We received our Federal designation which will allow us to bid on Real Estate related contracts.
  5. During my lunch break - I had to zip over to Home Depot to pick up a 42" Round Table (1 in my stock mysteriously disappeared) and speaking of a Bailout, the clerk said oh - we've got some here on clearance for $16 - I said - Wow - I'll take 2!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, as long as there's progress I'm good to go.  So far (knock on wood), no canceled deals, no Bad News that would offset my Good News!!!  Oh yeah - It rained pretty good for 2 days, so we can even save some $$$$$ on the water bill.  As you can tell I try and stay mellow and not fall hype to things that are out of my control.

Thanks for reading.  As usual share your Good News or Bad, but either way have a productive and good weekend.
