The LAST year of the Daffodil Garden.....
I've got to give a thumbs up to my fellow Rim High School Alumni Greg Steffens in Lake Arrowhead for posting this blog. Even after living in the San Bernardino Mountains for 10 years during my childhood, I've never seen this beautiful daffodil garden in Running Springs. Greg has let us know that this Spring is the last year the garden will be open to the public. If you haven't made a point to seek this place out, this year is the time to do it. I'm adding it to my list of things to do for the end of March or early April. For those of you who live in Banning, Running Springs is about a 45 mile drive away. The time is drawing near and the last opportunity to enjoy the Daffodil Garden in Running Springs is soon....

I just called the Running Springs Chamber of Commerce and their recorded information said that the Daffodil Garden will be open the last week of March and the first week of April (weather permitting). It also suggested that you call back to get any updated information before you make the trip up there. Their phone number is 909.867.2411.
This will be the LAST year that the Daffodil Garden will be open to the public, so be sure not to miss it....and be sure to pack alot of film (or memory cards) to capture the beauty.....you won't get another chance!
