I'd have to say the first is my favorite. I worked very hard at making myself miserable for many years in my life and when I finally learned how to let go, I realized that I could work just as hard to move things in the other direction. Life has been much better ever since.

That Margaret Mitchell one about the strength on the inside really appealed to me Sharon. Funny how some of them just jump out at you. Thanks as always for researching these and bringing them to us all.

Bananahead You just made me LOL so hard when you said young lady like I was a kid that disobeyed her daddy. Don't even think about giving me a spanking unless you want one back. Are you going to be dreaming all night if I don't tell you. It is more of a question & answer than a joke but a guy said it once a long time ago. Guys would definitely relate to it. <smile>Still wanna know?

BTW- I know you got the notify me of comments checked so will see how long before you come over. Actually it isn't as bad as the comment on the towels that I left you that I was told I was naughty on. NO x-rated material but I'm sure if I remember back a few years I can remember something and if so that would be in a e-mail <smile>Growing up with four brothers and being surrounded by mostly males all my life YOU do hear some interesting stuff.

You are so funny mate, YOU know all this build up and suspense and you probably will be disappointed it isn't more x-rated maybe PG depending on how old you are but with you being a husband and father it will be g-rated for you. Now since all my regulars have already been here I could put it here and then if you think I need to edit it out I will. It is tame compared to what i said about the towel that I thought Gail would have a cow over. Don't know why it popped in my head tonite but it did. I will be checking out that link. I appreciate you leaving it.

OK- For you mate-The question is How's it hanging? Answer-Two in a bunch. Now is that a disappointment or do I need to take it off. You tell me TICK TOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M TRYING TO BE A REFINED LADY HERE YOU KNOW NOT A WILD MONKEY. AM I PASSING OR FAILING? lol TIME STARTS now!!!

HOWEVER ! ... I am pretty sure that growing up with 4 BROTHERS that you have heard MUCH MORE SASSY jokes than that !! LOL

... as the Spring approaches I will get those out of you too ;o)

PS: did you see the funny cow nose ???

Is the cow nose the link?  I was just over leaving you a comment so I haven't opened it yet. going to right now.

Hi Toula-We need Monday's to get us going that for sure and sometimes I need that everyday.

Hi Debi-That is so funny because that very quote is one that I had on a knickknack ring holder years ago and it is something I've never fogotten. I try myself to live that everyday as well. I've also learned the hard way sometimes it doesn't pay to be too nice then people walk all over you. Been there done that. It is much harder for me to refrain from being TOO nice than it is to ever think I'm TOO important. I'm no better or more than important than the next person. Look forward to more of your pics. Have a great day. ;-)

Sharon,

I love your sharing od these quotes, Being a former art teacher and lover of the Impressionists and Expressionists and the works of Vincent van Gogh, I chose his quote:

Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together."
by Vincent van Gogh and as Rev ,Robert Schuyler would say "inch by inch anything is a cinch"

Hi Kathleen-I appreciate your commenting. I very much like that quote as well as that is what I am doing in my life. I hadn't heard that inch by inch quote in quite a while. Thanks for the reminder. :-)
