New Jersey; More than a place to visit

Services for Real Estate Pros with R & D Art

I am not so sure why New Jersey has caught such a bum rap lately. It has been a long time since I have been up that way, but from what I can remember it is a great place to live. Aside from chemical factories in Newark, I really can not think of a reason that people would not want to live there.

Out of the 50 states, New Jersey has some of the most beautiful and serene views. It is also just a short train or bus ride away from New York. And some of the residents are not bad either when you consider that New Jersey natives include Jack Nicholson, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Redman, Das EFX, Naughty by Nature, Sugar Hill Gang, Lords of the Underground, Jason Alexander, Queen Latifa, Shaq, Judy Blume, Arron Burr, Whitney Houston, Eddie Money, Frank Sinatra and Grover Cleveland.

If you are thinking of moving and need one of the many New Jersey Jobs that are available, get online and check it out today. The state of New Jersey has one of the highest per capita incomes of all 50 states and that makes sense because the state motto is liberty and prosperity.

Hello Danny,

I live in New Jersey and find that it does have a lot to offer.  As with any state there are better places than others to vacation and live.  Thanks for putting New jersey in the spotlight!

Danny, thanks for the positive NJ post!  most people think of NJ as the view by Newark airport where the refineries are.. that is just a small part.  We have some of the best beaches and fun... There is a lot of fun seekers that call NJ their vacation spot.  For me, I live here, play here and love it... and in just over an hours drive I can be in NYC or Philly.  Or in a few minutes I can be out on my boat.  I Love NJ!

Hey Danny...

So true, Jersey gets (and has gotten) a bad rap all the time. However, the Garden State has many wonderful things to offer such as: some of the most wonderful family resorts and beaches anywhere, plenty of mountains and lakes, hiking trails, camping sites, ski resorts, park lands, minor league baseball teams, professional sports teams - Giants, Jets, Devils, & Nets, shopping malls, close proximity to NYC in the Northern part of the state, Close proximity to Philadelphia in the Southern part of the state, and best of all...NJ has me! (just kidding).

So to honor you for your post, I'd like to invite you to join my group "We Love North Jersey" and contribute whenever you see fit.

Thanks Danny!
