Too Busy to Blog, and Missing It

By
Real Estate Agent with Premier Florida Realty of SWFL

Of course, it's good to be busy, but I miss blogging.  I like to know what is going on , not only the real estate world, but in the happenings taking place in our world in general.  And, I enjoy putting in a word or two on those happenings.  I enjoy sharing my thoughts.

Although Wall Street is in decline and the unemployment numbers are high, I feel optimistic about the future.  I feel that the housing and banking crisis will ease and these will be valuable lessons learned.  America is a strong country.  It is also a survivor country.

Just on the market: Fort Myers Beach Direct Gulf Access Luxury home  4 bedrooms and 4 baths located in gated Palm Isles.  Pool/spa; Large dock w/2 lifts. Double sided gas Fireplace; Solid Surface counters; Beautiful tropical landscaping; 4 car garage!  $1,149,000

Its good to be busy. Busy making money is better than busy blogging. We live in a fantastic country, and even though times are hard, they are not as hard as the media portrays it to be. In the early 80's interest rates on a home were 17 to 18 percent. Now, it is 3.5 to 4.5 percent. No money down loans were not even considered back then. You had to have 20 percent down. We may be in a down market, but its not that bad.

Our whole team is very busy right now. Exercise had trumped blogging in the early morning for me, then the day takes over, and at night, sleep trumps blogging. So sorry.

Lloyd.. I'm glad to hear you are busy.  Too busy to blog is a good thing too... It would be best to have a happy medium.  I like your optimism... Thanks for sharing.

Lloyd,

It is busy out there and I'm finding it hard to blog but always try and squeeze in 45 min. a day with AR. It has become real important to me to feel grounded with the diversity of posts on AR. I get someting I need to complete my day! Thanks out there!!

Hi LLoyd,

I, too, have been naughty and have not been blogging like a should.  So I recently hired a "ghost blogger."  She took the time to to read my existing blog posts and learn my style, then does research and posts useful blog entries that are relevant for my audience.  It's working in a big way.  I just make sure I keep my Active Rain account all to myself!

Best,

T-
