While playing around this morning trying to organize my photos this morning I ran across yet another simple and free way to make a slide show that can be turned into movies that can be uploaded to youtube directly as well as facebook and any other site that accepts movie files.
You will need a google account to use picasa but then you are able to use it for free. When you upload your photos you are able to select several by holding down the control key and clicking on the photos you want to use. Then all you have to do is click the make movie button at the bottom of the screen.
It will automatically create a movie that you can add text slides to as well as music with the click of a button. If you look on the right hand side you will see the audio button to browse your files and add the music. If you would like to add a text slide to the end of the movie just right click on the slides at the bottom of the screen and click add text slide.
Literally within less than 5 minutes I was able to create this great looking video and upload it directly to youtube at http://www.youtube.com/user/RealLivingRealty and I also upload it to my facebook event page at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=54303501373#/video/video.php?v=1076950054945&oid=54303501373
Even better you are able to tag your photos so google can label them on google images. As brokers we need to be efficient with our marketing dollars. Training agents to use these easy and free resources allows agent to stand out without having to spend tons of money on marketing property and their services.
