Why a HOUSE is a better investment than the STOCK MARKET

Let me ask you a question. What can you do to improve the value of your stocks? Let's say you have 100 shares of Wal Mart. At today’s price of $47.50 ps that's $4,750 bucks. Now how much they're worth today compared to when you got them, well we're not going to even go there. Here you are with your 100 shares or $4,750 and you would like more value for them, so you head down to the local Wal Mart and ask if you could have a meeting with EVERY employee they have. You want your money to increase so you want their productivity to increase and wages to remain the same. You want all O.T. to stop and safety procedures to be followed. You'll definitely want to get rid of that one kid who couldn't even lift that planter you purchased over in the garden center last week. What about that new car the Store Manager is driving around? He obviously makes more than enough. Oh my, maybe a marketing campaign will get more people to come and purchase. Then you suddenly realize that this is just one store. Wal-Mart Stores has more than 5,700 stores, including some 1,350 discount stores, nearly 2,000 combination discount and grocery stores , and 550 warehouse stores (SAM'S CLUB). Nearly 75% of its stores are in the US (around 3400). It owns 42% of Japanese supermarket chain SEIYU. Wal-Mart also has operations in Asia, Europe, and South America. Now you really get to thinking. Even if you were to increase the profit of your local store that would be a drop in the ocean in getting the stock to increase. You start to think about how you could begin a world wide campaign to increase your stocks value. I know there will be planning and travel and dollars spent but you just might be able to pull it off. Now any stock in today’s market that can get a 5% increase is doing good. Most of them are going down in value. You are looking for a whopping 20% increase. or a share value of $57 ps. What? A 20 % increase gets me $9.50 ps. A stinking $950. what about all your efforts. The traveling and meetings. Right now your thinking that it really was a good idea that you didn't get that mutual fund with over a dozen stocks in Countries all over the world. Your budget couldn't take it! Simply put, a person really wouldn't go through that much effort to improve their stock portfolio and today’s savvy investor knows the best place to put their capitol is in property. They know a home can be lived in and a stock portfolio can't. They know an investment can be set up properly so that the numbers make sense even in this economy. They know that with improvement funds spent in the right way, their purchase will be worth even more in the future. They know people will always have to find shelter and they know how to keep it affordable yet profitable. Yeah- It's really a no-brainer. A house is a much better investment than the stock market. I'm headed to Wal Mart, I have to talk to someone in the garden Dept.
