For the month ending February 2009 the South Portland Maine real estate market saw 16 single family and residential transactions occur at a median price point of 177K with the median home sitting on the market for approximately 124 days. In February 2008 7 homes were sold at a median price of 215K thus transaction volue is way up but median pricing took a significant hit. The current inventory level for South Portland is at 126 down from 133 in January.
