The Cabarrus County Boys and Girls Club Annual Pancake Day is just around the corner. On Thursday, March 19th, enjoy pancakes at the Boys and Girls Club on Spring Street in Concord for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is an annual event you don't want to miss. Tickets are just $6 and include pancakes, sausage and your beverage. You will be able to purchase tickets at the Club the day of the event or you can purchase them in advance from people selling them around town. If you have never attended or are new to the community, add this to your list of things to do. You will be glad you did.

I am currently the president of the Hammonton Kiwanis Club. Hammonton, NJ is known as the "Blueberry Capital of the World". Each June the town holds a Red, White, and Blueberry Festival at which the Kiwanis Club does a pancake breakfast fundraiser. They are, of course, blueberry pancakes. It is always a big hit with a line that goes out the door.
