Is that wedding bells that I hear?

Services for Real Estate Pros with R & D Art

The seasons are starting to heat up. With the Spring weather trying to break winter's hold and entice people to those great outdoor activities we love, and Summer right around the corner, I am hearing a familiar sound in the distance. Carried on the warming southern winds, is that wedding bells that I hear? I believe it is that familiar sound that is filling the air. I wonder how many wedding invitations have already hit the streets to notify all the friends and family of impending nuptials. I know of one that I am set to attend in Dallas during this time and I am sure that it is going to be an all out event.

However, with today's economy, I am sure that this wedding season is going to run into a bride on a budget or two. I am sure that some of them will go for the cheap wedding invitations and there is nothing wrong with it. Though I do realize that many young ladies have dreamed of their wedding day since they were young girls but when you are on a budget, you have to decide where to trim the fat. A lot of times, the receptions are where you can save money by having them at a friends home or a beautiful outdoor setting. One way to save a lot of money is to fore go the formal sit down dinner reception in favor of hors d'oeuvres and finger foods. Another idea is to either have a pay bar or limit the types of alcohol available if you are having alcohol at your reception. There are many creative ways to limit the expense of your wedding without sacrifices enjoyment and beauty. Overall, the wedding is what the ceremony is all about, so just make sure that you do not put yourself into a financial bind with it.

Danny - my brother-in-law owns an event center, specifically for weddings and he has seen a huge drop in the numbers. And the very few that are booked are in a much reduced scale. He is trying to find other events to fill the center to pay bills. ~Rita

Wedding Stationery in the UK

The Wedding Stationery market is still performing strong with many new entrants, I have recently been looking for contemporary wedding stationery and found a great company based in Leicester. They provide personalised wedding stationery at great prices well worth looking at.

Yes I agree, the 'w' word no longer means price hikes with the economy. Companies such as AdelaRosa Wedding Cards is worth checking out. You basically can't make cards cheaper yourself, and these designs are really nice.
