Green Greenie makes it easy

Real Estate Agent with FATHOM REALTY 0432413

Hello All,

I have been green since the old EARTH DAYS of the 70's-80's. but times are changing because now it is not just a left-over from the HIPPY DAYS.    Almost everyone has come to the same conclusion.  Change the way we use the planet...or ruin it for the future generations.

I have found a perfect little site that reminds me of all the ways that I can help and makes it easy for me to participate by voicing my opinon to my representatives.  I use www.care2.com

I am not going to repeat all the ways that each person, each family and each company can make their own contributions to going green, but this site will remind you of the things you already know, and give you so many new ideas that will help the planet.

One particular benefit that I love at care2 is the ecards.  They use no paper, do not have to mailed, cost nothing, and actually contribute to saving the rain forests when each one is sent.

Everyone can find a special interest be it protecting animals, wild or domestic, the land, the oceans, the air, reducing and reusing, composting, saving energy, or finding other people that connect with you.

Welcome and a very nice post.  You can go to the newbie site or Brad Anderson's frequently asked questions to find out where to put the tags -- there is a space just under the blog post.

Thanks so much.  I found it on the blog page, but not where I was trying to post just to that group.  Maybe I ended up doing it correct through the Blog.  I am reading Brad's instructions.. but my memory isn't as good as it was.  I really appreciate all help.

Hello Jane Anne, I read your profile and it is terrific.  I saw your (or someone close ) Belgium horse in your profile.  I raised warmbloods for 27 years, and still have a Percheron mare,    Polo (in my picture), a QHXTrak. and a KWPN Dutch mare.  My first reason to participate in AR was to put together a list of agents for horse property referrals.  Could I include you?

Thanks for your sweet reply. I do seem to care about many things..I hope the earth is a little better rather than worse because I was here.

Summer's Carolina BreezeHey Paula welcome to active rain! My wife is a horse person too! She has two mares one a Morgan and the other a Morgan/walker cross in picture.

Me? I called them expensive lawn ornaments!

Our area has lots of horse farms and horse people.  At least 60% of the population here owns horses and we have lots of national forest to ride in. Keep me posted on your horse property list!

Gary

Hey Gary,

thanks for the note.  What an adorable face. the horse's...haven't seen yours yet.  Do you want to be added to my horse savvy realtor list.  You just can't have that "expensive lawnmosers" attitude. Please email me back,  I am trying to get referral agents all over the country, and it is harder than I thought it would be.

I lived in Colorado..3 yrs in Denver, then 8 in Vail.

Where are you???

Paula, thanks for sharing the website.  I'll check it out.  Isn't it amazing that once you start looking around for something in particular you will find more and more of it?
