That's what the past two months have been! Up and down, up and down, a real roller coaster ride working through deals, working with clients, sellers, buyers, and even the dang weather!
Whew... my stomach has been up and down right along with the ride...
Some deals make it (that's the up); some deals don't (definitely the downs); I only know that I have hung on very tight through all of them and eventually even the down ones have an up to them!
My blogging has been up and downas well... couldn't blog; blogged like mad; no time to blog;
up and down and up and down....
The weather - first it is raining, then it is sunny, then it is snowing, then it is hailing; it's 18 in the morning and 55 in the afternoon. Up and down and up and down...
The real estate market goes up and down, and up and down; on the way up a roller coaster slowly creeps up and reaches the top (just like our real estate market); and then what seems like the snap of a finger, it comes rushing down the other side dropping all our stomachs out and giving us a hair raising experience....hmmmm...
up and down up and down....
When will the ride stop or stay on the straight and narrow? I hope never because then life would be ever so boring and no thrill at all. Even with the maddening ups and downs, it is the best ride ever!
Especially when it starts to creep up the UP side again. The anticipation is maddening (and you know it will come) to get to the top and you know the coming down will be fear, fright, nauseous tummies but we will creep back up to the top again...be it ever so slooooowwwllyy...
Pretty darn close to how "LIFE" is! We just have to hang on, enjoy the ride and be prepared for the "down."
Are we starting to creep back up the UP in our local Allyn,Belfair and Hood Canal real estate market? We just have to wait for the ride to return to the top, it may creep a little slower as we gain altitude -but eventually we will surely make it.
What goes up must come down!
Now that we have seen the down, maybe we will all remember to be a little better prepared for the ride down..even though as much as we don't want it too, reality is that at some point it does go down...
And remember to always use the safety bar -especially on the way down!
GOING UP!
