Yes thats my Crazy kid at it again..... he has no fear

The Chalk Box has been around for almost 30 years now. My kids have been going here for about 6 months and learning about gymnastics. They offer programs for children as young as 2 years old. They also offer cheerleading and tumbling class, and a fitness program for Male or Female Jr High and up and when you are there working out get this they also offer free babysitting on weekday mornings, when you work out there...The price of the classes are very good and they are almost twice as long as anyone else in the area offers.

They maintain a low student to teacher ratio so that each child receives personal attention and they don't have to wait forever for their turn. The teachers have been specifically trained to instruct the sport, including spotting and safety. Many of them are our former or current gymnast them selves.

Roy ....Matt loves the place ..unfortunately most of the time he leaves crazier then when we get there....the kid goes 100mph all the time....but he keeps me going...

Zane- I had both of my boys in gymnastics for three years from ages 4-7 for my youngest and 7-10 for my oldest. We went 3 times per week and it has helped them with their balance in dirt biking and for the last three years snowboarding. (they are 15 & 18 now)!

Many people don't realize that balance is the basis for almost all sports. I was never athletic, except for running, so I wanted my boys to try many different sports.

It was hard seeing my little one on the balance beam for the first time but I got over it! :) Thanks for sharing about your little one. It brought back good memories for me.

Jane.... thanks for stopping by I was never into sports myself but all my kids that are in school do some kind of sport...football wrestling tennis gymnastics 4-wheeling and racing and my oldest girl was in choir when she went to school....

JL...the kids love it the teachers there are really great...

Hi Zane! What a great program for kids,it sounds like they are very good in what they are doing with the program. It is important for kids to not only exercise but also to do things they really enjoy. I am sure they have very good teachers, most likely that is one of the reasons they have been in business for 30 year.
