Sellers clean it up, buyers are looking.

It's time to let our seller know that the buyers are out and looking. They are looking at what the winter months have left over for them to do. I sent some buyers out last weekend looking at several listing in different neighbors. They were unsure where they really wanted to live so I said go take a drive and see what interest you. They had several listing sheets with them.

What I heard back was that some of the home that they thought that they would want to look at, looked so bad and unkept on the outside that they did not even want to go back and take a look at the inside. The fall clean up had not happened now all of the leaves and over grown bushes looked alot worse than they should and it really turned the buyers off.

I made phone calls to all of my listing letting them know what I had just been told. They were all glad to hear that this truly would make a difference to a buyer just driving by.

I hope to be able now to get the seller motivated enough to get outside and get the winter blahs taken care of.

I agree buyers are looking and we all know you only get one chance to make that first good impression...

The is the trouble with bank owned homes...some are so dirty. If they were cleaned they would move.

Clean always speaks to more buyers than dirty -- at least in a positive way .
