Want Relo Business? Make it easy!
I have been lucky. I have moved around a lot. I lived in Rhode Island (Born and Raised), Texas, Guam, Maryland, Florida and now call Los Angeles home. Why is this lucky? Besides seeing a lot of great places, I have had the experience of looking ahead to my next move. I know the anxiety of not knowing what to expect... where to move, wondering what's the housing like, where are the best schools, what's the commute going to be like... How soon do I have to change my driver's license and register my vehicles...Believe me... I can empathize with folks relocating. I know the first resource I refer to is the internet. Its anonymous, and I can quickly gather a bunch of information very quickly without leaving my sofa. Many agents get the wrong idea about the internet. People want to be anonymous until they don’t want to be anonymous. When they feel that you are a valuable asset for them to reach out to, and they are ready… They WILL reach out to you. So, I design my websites to be content rich. Relocating folks will dig deep into your site, just craving data! It can be a GREAT relationship. They don’t want to have to go to twenty websites to get the data they need, so give it to them. Make good use of links on your site… either framing the data (boxing the other page within your own) or having the link open in another window, so they can always easily return to your site. Want another advantage over your competition? Check into a toll free phone number. It makes you look more professional but is very reasonably priced. My toll free line costs me on the average, $25.00 a month. So, if you want more relo business… Make it easy!
