The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT) is sponsoring a free paint giveaway on a trial basis. The Household Hazardous Waste receives gallons of usable paint. Anyone who takes more than 3 gallons will receive a free 5 gallon bucket.
Paint is offered first-come, first-served and colors are not guaranteed.
Paint is available daily from 9am to 5pm at the Solid Waste Transfer Station located at 16101 Frederick Road in Derwood, MD.

Just thought people might like to know about this. This could really come in handy if you needed to do some painting to get your house ready for the market.
