I Missed Him!

By
Real Estate Agent with St. Charles County, Missouri - Prudential Alliance Realtors

Do you remember the story I told you a few months back about the squirrel that I accidentally hit?  I felt so bad about it, but it really wasn't my fault...Really!  He ran right into me!

Anyway, today it almost happened again - This cute little squirrel ran right in front of me and stopped.  I didn't slam on my brakes, but I hit them pretty hard.

I was just waiting for the "ka-thump".  Thankfully, I didn't hear it.  Somehow, he moved away just in time.

I Missed Him!   Yea!  :)

Those silly squirrels are going to give me heart failure...  :(

I actually had a squirrel that got used to coming close to me for food.

Sincerely

Tom - That would be fun.  My dad has befriended a squirrel in his backyard, too!  :)

When my kids were young this little joke was going around:  "why did the chicken cross the road?  To show the squirrels that it could be done"  I do think sometimes that they taunt me to see if I am paying attention.  It is spring and they seem to be a bit distracted :-)

Hi Debi ~ Thank goodness you missed him! I absolutely love squirrels.  This winter I left peanuts out for them because with all the snow food seemed in short supply.  I wish I could have got them to come to me like Tom mentioned - maybe next year.

I am the same way, I try to avoid them at all costs and it makes my husband nuts.  He is always yelling about that.

Cindy - LOL! They are such silly little things...  I do my best to miss them!  :)

Liz - Awww! That is sweet. My dad feeds peanuts to the squirrels in his backyard, too! :)

Debra - It's sometimes hard to miss them and drive safely at the same time...  :)
