Has anyone heard this news: Home sellers will be required to use their right thumbprint to sign off on the final documents when they close on their home, effective June 1, 1984 2009.
Cook County is in Illinois, and I'm wondering about the who, what, where, when and why (and how).
Who: Someone (the voters?) authorized this.
What: were they thinking?
Where: are their escrow officers (checking ID, notary publics, etc.)
When: will this thumprint/fingerprint scanner sweep the Nation?
Why: is this happening? Are thefts of property so rampant in Cook's County that they must implement this "Big Brother" technique?
What: are they smoking (and HOW can I get some of that?!?)
I know, I asked "what" twice.
But seriously folks, your professional opinions are appreciated.
Hewlett-Packard offers fingerprint scanners. I say they cut to the chase and implement my latest inventions:
- Voice Activated Recordations
- Eye Retina Recognition Recordations
Hey Hewlett-Packard . . . suck on this:
"Deed, record" . . . Voice activated recordations (VAR)
Blink, blink, stare . . . eye retina recognition recordations (ERRR)
Just get it OVER with, and chip me already!! GEEZ
