I want to share some of the reasons why I choose to live, work, and play in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
The Lakes Region of New Hampshire is one of the crown jewels in New England for its beauty as a lake and mountain destination. If you are thinking about Squam Lake or Lake Winnipesaukee real estate, or searching for beautiful Moultonborough waterfront properties, or for that Wolfeboro colonial home in the "Oldest Summer Resort in America," then welcome to the Lakes Region.
As natives of this beautiful state I can say with certainty that you are in for a major paradigm shift in your life when you visit here for the first time.
My wife Carol and I have a combined twenty years of experience specializing in real estate services encompassing just some of the following areas: Wolfeboro, Moultonborough, Lake Winnipesaukee, Tuftonboro , Alton, Meredith, Center Harbor, Sandwich, Squam Lake, and Gilford .
The four season beauty of the Lakes Region is unsurpassed anywhere. Summer brings hiking, boating, swimming, antiquing, and concerts, such as Meadowbrook in Gilford, The Great Waters Music Festival, Wolfeboro Folk, and Heifetz International Music Institute all in Wolfeboro and this is just the beginning of what will fill your activities list. Fall is our most spectacular season for its breathtaking beauty drawing people from all over the world. Winter brings exciting times for us who live here from ice fishing, snowmobiling, or carving turns down the many beautifully groomed ski slopes at ski areas such as Gunstock in Gilford. Spring brings a rebirth to the Lakes Region with the first run of maple syrup from sugar maples in Sandwich, Tuftonboro and the surrounding towns. From the towns of Moultonborough, and Center Harbor at the northern tip of Lake Winnipesaukee to the town of Alton at the southern tip of the lake, the apple blossoms, lilacs, and cherry trees bloom with the advent of warm days.
I would enjoy hearing any memories you have of the Lakes Region. Maybe as a child you were a camper at one of the many camps in our area. Please share your thoughts.
