"THE FENCE SITTERS": THE NEW NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS (NAR) COMMERCIAL...

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential

Have you seen it?

It's being run during the NCAA basketball tournament:

A family is sits on a fence, in front of a home that is FOR SALE...

"Why are we sitting here?" the wife asks...

"I am not sure exactly," the husband replied.  ""They" said we should wait."

"It looks so nice," says the wife.

"I want one, Mom," chimes in the daughter.

"Me too Sweety.  Me too..."

It makes me chuckle.

Usually, I find the National Association of Realtors (NAR) commercials pretty cheesy...

But I liked this one.

It makes people think.

Think of their Realtor...

I think the first time I saw this commercial was during the Super Bowl--or around that time anyway.  I think it's great, too.

I agree Ken it is cheesy but entertaining. It is better than Realtor, real estate is OUR LIFE, like 24 hours. Fence sitting is what is going on right now, so this is probably appropriate. I don't think the ad will sell one more house though. Getting people confidence and back employed will.

Hi Alyce, Larry, Robert, Tina, and Pat.  Thanks for reading.

I like this ad.  Funny.  And if it makes people think of me, it must be good.

Thanks again,

Hi Ken... I like that this commercial makes a point without beating folks over the head about it.  Getting folks to think about buying is important... I only wish that they would have mentioned more than interest rates as a reason why now is a great time to buy.

Hi Steve and Debra.  Thanks for reading.

As long as they have the family on the fence, I am happy.  I barely am listening to the spokesperson...

Thanks again,

Ken
