I've said it before, "open house traffic is picking up"! Last week, I have more people though my open house than EVER before. I ran out of "open house fliers" two hours into a 5 hour open house!
There must have been 20 groups through. Most were working with other agents, a few were just curious, and some were looking on their own.
It IS that time of year, but past years were not as active as last Saturday was. Was it just because this is a new listing in a popular neigborhood? Maybe, but I think there is more to it.
A few weeks ago my buyer got beat out on a great purchase. We had put in an offer that was $5,000 over list (list was too low). There were 6 offers on the property and 3 of them were ALL CASH! We are talking about a $300K home!
So, that tells me that those with the money are coming back into the market. Are they on to something?
I think so...
