Hemlock Semiconductor, LLC Breaks Ground in Clarksville, Tennessee
Today Hemlock Semiconductor, LLC Breaks Ground in Clarksville, Tennessee on the new polysilicon manufacturing facility due to open in 3 years. All eyes was on Clarksville this morning as the Ground Breaking ceremony took place on Jim Johnson Rd. News cameras were all on site to witness this event. Even CNN made the trip to Clarksville.
The ground work has started as Plateau Excavation, Inc has was
awarded the bid for getting the land cleared and ready for the construction to begin.

Terry Strange will soon relocate to Clarksville from China to over see the site operations here for HSC.

City Mayor Johnny Piper stated that although the HSC site is in the County, The City of Clarksville will run Water and Sewer to the site and once open, The City of Clarksville will also provide Police and Fire protection as well.
Soon to follow will the the ground breaking ceremony at Austin Peay State University's Chemical Tech Lab that will help train new employees for Hemlock Semiconductor Corp,LLC.
