I'm sure that I'm not the only one a little frustrated. The banks and REO do not seem to be on the ball with these properties. I called a name on a sign of a For Sale by Owner, got a recorded message from a national bank. Pushed a few buttons, I did get to talk to a human finally. I asked some questions and got the same answer, I do not know. She did not know the property at all, did not know the price, or bedrooms or sqft. Could not answer one question. It's no wonder that there are so many of them sitting around and not being sold.
I had a couple that put an offer on one, they finally just said pull the offer and walked away and bought another house. They just got tired of waiting and waiting. The buyer wanted to buy and get into a house not wait and run through all of the red tape so to speak.
