Sedona - Main Listing Image

Main Listing Photo

The featured photo above was not our first attempt at a picture for this listing.  Sometimes we will come back again and again to get it right.

First Attempt At Main Listing Image

25 Buckskin Home for sale twilight

There is nothing horrible about this picture but we knew we could do better. We took this photo in the late afternoon after the sun had set behind the hill.  We were trying to eliminate harsh shadows.

Always Give It Your Best - (No matter what it takes)

The lighting just was not up to our standards. 25 Buckskin Lane, Sedona AZ., sits east and west. The back of the home faces west.  My husband and I discussed the best time to take a picture. We knew if we got here at dawn, the sun would give us natural lighting to spotlight the front of the house.

Back to the Top Picture

The next morning a weather front was rolling in from the southwest. We were able to capture the warm colors of "magic time" with a cloud front.  I wanted to seize the  rare minutes of low light with all the exterior and front interior lights on to help with the dramatic effect.  Time was of the essence to get the "money" shot! A bonus element was the reflection of the morning sun casting light from behind on the clouds in the Master bedroom window.

Whatever it takes, right, Sheri?? You two just showed those sellers how important listing their home IS and I loved the story. Thanks for mentioning the morning light coming in the master...I was paying attention to the clouds above, rolling in. Tremendous amount of natural light pours into this home, that's for sure!

Good morning Sheri.  My wife is the worlds worse about getting that perfect snapshot.  As we know there are bumps in the road and many times she misses that perfect shot waiting on something different

Hi James Dray -  After shooting an image or a complete house, I seel things that may need to be tweaked.  So  I pick up the camera and go back and snap another shot!

You nailed it my friend!  The one that was used has such a better angle than the one that wasn't.  Being a professional allows one to see what will look better and this is why I trust my listing photos to a pro!  I would take the do not use picture and think it looks pretty good, haha.

HI Brian England - This is another advantage. There are two of us calaborating on the right shot. We take anywhere from 60 to 120 shots and decide on 20-30 finished shots.
