As a Mortgage lender I have always been a huge fan of Open Houses. Sure some agents dislike them but over the course of years it surely is not a waste of time.

Gita Bantwal - Those are really clever ideas! I love them all, especially the lemon aid stand! And you're right, when you let others, like neighbors surrounding the open house, more than likely they will come and feel welcome.
