I love the theme this year of Austin Restaurant weeks! “Come and give it” for 2 weeks beginning August 16 - September 3rd (yes that is this week!). One city but two weeks and lots of food! There will be specially-priced meals and drinks from a unique array of Austin area restaurants and bars, including world class farm-to-table options and traditional local favorites. There will be prixe meal options with lunch $25 and dinners at $35 & $45.
Turning your table for two into dinner for fifty is the goal!
It doesn’t get any better than Austinites being offered a delicious opportunity to experience the Austin areas best restaurants at a great price and help fight hunger in Central Texas at the same time!
Central Texas Food Bank is the beneficiary of restaurant week which will be able to provide thousands of meals each year to those in need. For each dollar that means 4 meals!
Check out the sponsors working together to make a difference.
The list of restaurants is growing so you’ll want to keep checking back to the Restaurant Week website so you don’t miss out. Here are some of the restaurants participating:

Watch this video with Bryce Gilmore, Chef-owner of Barley Swine and featured chef on the Restaurant Week website, cooking with his dad, Jack Gilmore, chef-owner of Jack Allen's Kitchen. It definitely runs in the family!
