The count down begins and many are out shopping and trying to make time for friends for quick get togethers. Its a busy time of the year so take a minute to make reservations as they are usually required. Are you hungry for Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere with a Southern flair? I have just the recommendation for you for this week-end!
LA VOLPE https://lavolpeaustin.com/
Located in Austin's Central Business District, traditional Italian food is being blended with ultra-fresh ingredients and Southern flavors by executive chef Will Eason. This latest Italian eatery in our city has a very impressive menu that showcases chef Eason's talent.
The interior has an upscale atmosphere with a blend of modern and contemporary design. A lot of attention to detail was taken including a beautiful hand stenciled wall, intimate dining niches, exposed brick and beams, a vintage teardrop chandelier from Italy and an outdoor courtyard bountiful with olive trees. The focal point of the restaurant is the bar with its dynamic floor-to-ceiling shelving featuring Texas and Italian wines, craft beers and handcrafted cocktails. Vintage Italian ties are even showcased in a custom built frame with the Italian phrase "legare uno su" on it - that translates to "tie one on".
