Get to Know John Messiter
I started originating residential loans in 1998 with experience in FHA and self employed borrowers. Then added originating commercial loans in 2005 with local bank contacts, private money and national relationships. I traded mortgage and interest rate products in Chicago for 5 years prior to moving to Denver. This means I fully understand the mortgage market and why rates move and can explain this to new clients and my savvier, educated clients.
In addition to this I advise my clients on their personal finances including insurance, mutual funds, IRA's/401k and referring them to cpa's and attorney's to make sure they are well taken care of.
I am licensed, bonded and carry E&O insurance.
Certifications
I have experience in all types of residential and commercial loan transactions but mostly focus on the first time homebuyer with my FHA products and high end clients buying $750,000 properties who are self employed and have lots of assets. On the commercial side mostly small to medium sized ($250,000-$3,000,000) transactions involving convenience stores/ gas stations, retail and office buildings.
I have access to nationwide lenders but primarily focus on Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, California and Florida.
