IAHSP was the first professional association established for home stagers and since 1999 has set standards of excellence for the staging industry. IAHSP is open to all home stagers that meet the educational and professional requirements for membership. Just like the National Association of Realtors (NAR) requires agents to meet educational requirements and adhere to a code of ethics in order to be called a REALTOR(R), IAHSP requires the same standards are met and is like the NAR of the Home Staging industry. All IAHSP Members are first accredited as home stagers, and adhere to the professional code of ethics for working with their clients and each other prior to joining IAHSP. IAHSP members number in the thousands and reaches around the world. We have member chapters and were the first to establish local support chapters for our members back in 2003. Numbering over 100 regional chapters, members network locally for support, to share ideas, conduct professional business branding, and for joint marketing. IAHSP hosts the only professional educational convention annually, and since 2003 has provided an excellent forum for high level learning, professionalism, and networking with national vendors. IAHSP has a non-profit IAHSP Foundation that believes in giving back to communities around North America with the Worldwide Staging Service Week (WWSSW). Once a year, IAHSP chapters facilitate the donation of time, expertise and dollars to a worthy organization or individual.
