We believe the Staging industry is building a good professional reputation and is attracting some inspirational individuals. People who represent the industry well and work along side others as professionals. This group includes Realtors, Renovators, Organizers and more.
These special relationships truly offer the opportunity for Stagers to display their net worth and assist in the preparation of homes for sale. As it has been proven and even backed by reputable people in the industry, such as Jim Gillespie President and CEO of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation, fully staged homes do present better and sell faster than homes that have not gone through this process.
A well Staged home will receive the asking price and in many more cases much higher than asking. Staging is of great service to the homeowner who truly benefit. This success trickles down and is for example a huge reflection on the Realtor as their clients see they are delivering that higher level of service.
Yet the Home Staging Industry as far as it has come, could much like all industries, improve and better itself. In an effort to help in this improvement CARAHS offers its members continuing education, networking and a place to not only share ideas but mix with other professionals in the industry that adhere to our mission statement and the CARAHS Code of Ethics. All members of CARAHS must supply references before they are approved to join. As a not-for-profit organization our goal is not
to benefit from our members in any way other than to take every profession in the home and building industry to newer heights. To showcase the best and highlight the positive. A place where new entrepreneurs can learn and grow.
CARAHS and its founder Alec Caldwell believe there is the need for an independent body that without prejudice can raise the standards of not only Staging but all professions within the industry to these greater heights. A membership and backing of a third party organization will give a professional credibility in the eyes of the homeowner and assist in the self regulation of the industry as all its members that are accountable to the highest standards of professionalism.
