Elizabeth Akre

I work in partnership with my mother, Dottie Webber.  Mom began working in Columbia's real estate market in 1979 and I joined her in 1999.  As a native of Columbia, I know this area inside and out.  Not only am I active in our real estate market, but I serve as Chair of the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of Columbia, I am an active member of the Junior League of Columbia and am active in my church, Washington Street United Methodist.<br>As a Realtor, I have been active in our local and State associations since I first received my license in 1999.  I currently serve on the Central Carolina Realtors Association Board of Directors, and will take the office of Secretary in 2009.  Currently, I serve as the Legal and Ethical Services Group Chair for the South Carolina Realtors Association.  In 2009, I will work as the Region 3 Vice President and will chair the Annual Conference committee.

Columbia is a stable yet diverse community.  I work the full spectrum of residential real estate.  First time buyers are always a joy; helping someone buy their first home is a fun, positive and rewarding experience and I welcome those clients.  Much of my business comes from past clients and their repeat business and their referrals.  Because of my involvement on the State level, Realtor-to-Realtor referrals are also a large component of our business.
