I have lived in the Northern Virginia area for over 9 years. I have completed many home improvement projects on my own, and hired/worked with many different contractors in that time frame. Over the last few years, I started my own business in the Concrete world, and met even more general contractors to help on home additions/remodeling projects. Over the course of time, I have built up many relationships with those contractors. I have seen their work, they have guided me on projects, and have even saved me thousands of dollars on my own personal projects. They have saved others from overspending as well.
In this time, those contractors have agreed to write articles on their experiences and share with me and the consumer what to look out for when inviting a contractor in to their own home.
As a business owner, I know the value of honesty, integrity, and good advice and just wish to share that with everyone else.
I do possess a Class A Contractor's license in VA.
I have done home remodeling and repairs for myself over the last 9 years. By this, I have learned the ins and outs of a job well done. I have seen the mistakes made my other contractors. I have worked closely with trusted friends who are licensed contractors who have shown me the good and the bad about remodeling and repair.
I owned a decorative concrete company for two years, where I not only provided administration advice, but I would go on job sites and do the work along with the crew. We did acid staining, epoxy, overlay, and new pour concrete on walkways, driveways, garages, basement floors, and more.
As a business owner, I joined several networking groups that helped introduce me to even more contractors with even better sound advice. I have taken all that and created my own website to share with the consumer what the trusted experts are saying.
