Steve and his family moved to Austin over 3 years ago, and never looked back! After four years of construction management in Phoenix, he took a position in Austin where he remodeled the six story Texas State Bar building in the downtown area.  As a realtor with The Samford Group, Steve brings over five years of construction know-how and a detailed eye of home quality that any buyer or seller would appreciate. In addition to this background in building construction, clients appreciate his genuine love for Austin and strong negotiation skills for best value. Steve can make the buying, selling or leasing experience one of ease and confidence for his client.

Personally, Steve, his wife Jennifer, a professional photographer, and his son Isaac (5 yrs.) love spending time with friends ,living in Austin, and frequent many parks around their home in the beautiful Rosedale area. They are also apart of Austin City Life ( where they serve the city and each other with the power of God's love.

You're looking for a house, not a new best friend. You just want to get the best possible price, work with someone that knows what they're talking about, and hopefully you can get along with him or her. You want to invest wisely and do what is best for your future, not add another "friend" to your Facebook list.

Your time is valuable.  And you don't have a lot of it to give away. You need someone to listen!  It seems like everyone is talking all the time and no one is listening.  I will listen to your  goals, your needs, your hopes, and your desires.  Then I will make suggestions,  which we can together review, edit, and repurpose accordingly.

Here is what I'm not:

The cheese ball Realtor on the bill board that wears a name tag and pretends to be your new buddy. I will not make you go to lunch with me and feel obligated to use my services. I will not email you all the time with useless information or mail you crap that you care nothing about.  I do take real estate seriously but enjoy life while doing it.  I understand that people hate dealing with sales people.  So, I'm not one. 

Here is what my ideal client is not: 

A micro-manager. It's not that I don't want you involved, I just need you to trust me.  I'm a professional, been doing this for a long time.  My duty is to provide you the best deal, guide you along the way, and take the mystery out of selling/buying a home.

I want my clients to be educated about real estate, informed.  I provide that to you, through my website, through phone calls, through my blog, through one on one meetings...whatever channel suits your needs.  There is also a willingness to learn and try new things.  Being creative with financing, knowing what you want, and having a blast while doing all this is who I'd like to work with.
