Get to know Arlene Williams

I have been with the Coldwell Banker Burnet system for more than twenty years (formerly Merrill Lynch, Burnet, and for a short time a Prudential franchise).  I have lived in the Twin Cities for over 50 years.  I formerly was a Managing Director of a large choral organization (The Minnesota Chorale).  As a result I became familiar with the the entire metropolitan area as well as its business leaders with whom I held meetings as a result of grant applications.  It enabled me to know the cities' leaders.  I later became the national president of the governing organization for the country in that field, Chorus America.  That strong business background has been a significant help in my current field of real estate which I have been doing for 20+ years.  I have always been one of the top agents in the company.  I have worked hard to know the ins and outs of this business, the best way to handle a myriad of situations in our business, and the best marketing methods for our ever changing business world. 

Most importantly I am a leader of the team, TheArleneWilliamsGroup. I have two partners, Dee Widmark and Bev Pluth, who are full time agents listing and selling. 

I remain active in the arts because I feel this world needs them more than ever.  I have served on a number of boards including Chorus America, the Dale Warland Singers, and hospital auxiliary boards.  I continue of sing in a large downtown church and am active in its affairs.  I am very active in the communities I serve as well.


My areas of expertise are the upper bracket listings.  I specialize in marketing that makes a property look the part when a big price tag is attached.  Specialized brochures with professional photos and put together by a professional company give my properties the edge in the market place.  If you sell a property to the public that it is special they will believe you and recognize the qualities of the home.  It works time and again.

I do, however, market the full range of price homes.  I carry around 11-15 homes at any given time. 

Marketing and listing are the mail focuses of my work in the business.  I work with buyers as well.  I am a Relocation Specialist with the company which is both buying and selling homes for those in the process of corporate moves.
