I have practiced Real Estate in Arizona full time since the late 1990's.
Our company employs more than 200 realtors and in terms of 'production' I have ranked among the top 3% the last 6 years.I was born and raised in Norway. Took my business degree in England and have worked and lived in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I think it is fair to say that my international business background has been a positive factor in negotiating favorable deals on behalf of my clients. After all, buying a home is a major event. So working with a professional who has been around the block a few times is essential! The real estate market today is complicated and partnering with an experienced Realtor with a varied skill set will definitely be to your advantage. Particularly so in a complicated market like we are experiencing today. My promise to you is to listen carefully, educate you on local conditions, advise on a strategy and finally, execute accordingly.Give me a call and let's start up with an informal conversation.

Under the current market conditions you might find it worth while to focus on Foreclosed homes and New Homes.
There will be some 'resale homes' offered by people that can afford to compete with the bank owned homes. Particularly so for older homes where they have owned them for a few years and have been able to pay substantially down on their mortage. Otherwise it is tough to compete with foreclosed homes.
Some areas though, have few foreclosures and are less affected. They will function more like a 'normal' market.
The Home Builders are in a different situation and are still able to compete with the bank foreclosures. Many of their costs like land costs, subcontractors and building materials are much less expensive now compared to only a few years back. Many people like the idea of a brand new home with builder warranties.
In finding your new home we should explore both options.
