We moved into our family home on Sixth Street in 1963. I am practically a native! I attended Robinson, American Martyrs (where my mother Trudie was the secretary to the principal) and Mira Costa. I was the sixteenth person in my family to attend USC. If you are reading this and attended ‘the other school", truth is, yours is a good school too! Prior to beginning my Real Estate career, I was in the hotel business serving in various Sales and Marketing Management positions with Hilton and Marriott Hotels, ending up in the position of Director of Catering Sales. The transition into Real Estate from the hospitality industry was a simple one, as both involve a good sense of communication, listening, organizational and negotiation skills. A solid sense of marketing and people skills come in handy too. It is really all about people. Having been raised at the beach with a tremendous sense of values, all things in my life are done with truth, honesty and integrity in place.
I am blessed in being able to raise my two daughters Hanna and Holland (Enright) in the same beach home where I grew up with my two sisters. Holland is a freshman at my alma mater, Mira Costa, and actively involved in the Choral Department and settling into high school. Hanna is a junior also involved in the Choral Program and Stage Production. We believe each day at the beach to be a blessing, a gift, and cherish them as such.
I see what I do as being much more about helping others than about selling real estate. My business is built upon honestly and openly informing and educating others. This is important, so that when you are ready to make the move all options are well understood and have been thoroughly thought through. It is of the utmost importance to me, that you are clear about what you are doing, and that it is the best choice for you. I share without hesitation whatever information you need, and will always offer what I believe to be the best ideas are for your specific situation. I am a full-time Realtor, and having lived in Manhattan Beach for over forty years, specialize in my neighborhood and community. I do not commute into the beach cities for work, I live here. What happens here is as important to me and to my family as it is to you and to yours. I specialize in the three beach cities, and love the fact that I am always so readily available to my clients when necessary. I will happily help outside these areas, or will refer another qualified agent, if I feel I am not the best representation.
I have been blessed in creating a tremendous support team, but am personally committed to being the point of contact with all my clients. It is my personal goal that each client feels as though they have 100% of my attention 100% of the time. I provide support with gentle guidance, not pressure, and expect no obligation by you, unless YOU say so. Hopefully I do my job well enough that when the time comes, you DO say so! With over 90% of my business coming from past clients and referrals, I am confident that my friends, neighbors and clients know me, and understand how I feel about being of service to others. I have consistently been recognized as a Top Producer since moving to RE/MAX All Cities from Shorewood Realtors in 2002. I received the RE/MAX 100% Club Award in 2003, RE/MAX Platinum Club Award in 2004, 2005 and 2006. I had the honor of being inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in early 2007. I am consistently named in the companies Top 100 Agents, often in the Top 50. Finally, I am Quality Service Certified (QSC) which is a certification not too many Realtors hold.
