At 21, he became a partner in the Bruhn farms cattle, corn, and soybean holdings.  Eventually he became sole proprietor, cutting overhead by 15% and increasing profits by 10%.  Raising several hundred head of cattle and farming over 2,400 acres, he found that he truly enjoyed the world of business, negotiating for the best price on tens of thousands of dollars of equipment, getting top dollar for cattle and crops, acquiring new properties.  Little did he know that these same skills and interests would spur his real estate career. Habitat for Humanity:  Habitat for Humanity of Omaha (HFHO) raises its own funds through tax-deductible private contributions from civic groups, individuals, corporations, faith communities, and foundations. Homes are sold to partner families at no profit, and financed with affordable, no-interest loans. Homeowners' monthly mortgage payments go into a local fund that is used to build more Habitat homes. The funds go towards fixing and restoring homes for the underprivileged. Open Door Mission:  Open Door Mission offers many ways to help the homeless and hungry in the Omaha area.  I continue to volunteer to serve dinners.
