I have been a resident/homeowner in the D.C. area for almost 10 years. I have lived and worked in Georgetown, Capitol Hill, Arlington, Alexandria, and Logan Circle. I focus my practice on assisting clients with residential and investment transactions, with a particular specialty in working with first time buyers and sellers. I am adept at walking my clients through the process so they understand the risks and rewards of home ownership. I am also very interested in "green" properties and development in the Washington area.
Prior to entering the real estate profession, I worked as an educator and a therapist. I incorporate my expertise in these areas into my work everyday; I enjoy educating my clients about the process and helping them determine what they need and want in terms of home ownership. I strive to help my clients find the perfect home or investment to support their lifestyle and goals for the future.
I grew up in Savannah, Georgia. My mother has been a residential and commercial realtor for over 25 years. I chose real estate as a second career, but it has been part of my life for as long as I can remember!
When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, reading, watching films, rowing on the Potomac, and hiking with my dog.

I am based out of the Coldwell Banker flagship residential office in Georgetown, but my business often expands beyond DC. I also represents sellers and buyers in Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church, McLean, and even Reston! I am licensed in Washington, D.C. and Virginia.
First-time homebuyers are my first love in this business. However, I also enjoy working with individuals seeking unique and hard-to-find properties. Lately, I find myself working more often with investors and parents who are assisting their children as they get started in this urban market. Marketing a property and finding the perfect buyer is another one of my specialties. In this market, it's important to know how to price a property to help a client net top dollar. I'm a numbers girl and it definitely comes in handy when I'm working to price a listing. I thoroughly research the competition and help my clients figure out how they can price a property so buyers perceive value and want to make an offer sooner rather than later. I also assist my clients with getting their property ready to show. As they say, it's all in the details! I assist them in making repairs, staging, and even getting keys copied or the grass mowed. I believe in making things happen for my clients, not simply waiting for a buyer to "appear."
